Nutrition

Fuel is an input
you control.

Enva tracks what you eat against targets built from your own metabolism, not a generic calorie chart. What you fuel with feeds every score downstream.

What Enva tracks

Coming soon to iPhone.

The Nutrition screen: a fat-loss plan with TDEE and target, protein / carb / fat rings, and a 7-day energy-balance chart

Your baseline

A calorie target built from your metabolism.

Setup takes a minute. Enva computes your resting burn from the Mifflin-St Jeor formula, scales it by how much you have actually trained over the last four weeks, then turns that into daily calorie and macro targets for the goal you pick.

Your Metabolic Rate: 1,807 kcal per day at rest, calculated from weight, height, age and sex
01Resting burn
Daily Energy Needs: 2,801 kcal TDEE, computed as BMR times an activity factor from your last 4 weeks of training
02Activity-adjusted
Your Plan: a 2,301 kcal fat-loss target with protein, carb and fat goals and workout recommendations
03Your targets

Train more and your energy need rises with it, automatically. You can still override the activity level or the macros by hand at any point.

What Enva tracks

Six things, not just a calorie count.

Macro Trends and Micro Trends charts: protein, carbs and fat over 7 days, plus fiber against its RDA

Calories in versus out is the start, not the whole story. Two days at the same total can leave you recovering very differently.

So Enva scores the composition and the timing too, and every target is set from your own BMR and TDEE, adjusted for the day's actual training load.

Energy balance

Intake against your BMR and TDEE, adjusted for the day's actual training load rather than a fixed activity multiplier.

Macronutrients

Protein, carbohydrate and fat against targets set for your goal: fat loss, muscle gain, or an event build. Protein is tracked per kilogram of body weight.

Micronutrients

Iron, magnesium, vitamin D, B12 and the rest of the panel that shows up in labs and recovery long before you feel it.

Hydration

Water and electrolyte intake, with caffeine tracked read-only from HealthKit so it can inform your recovery cutoff.

Timing & consistency

When you eat relative to training and sleep, and how steady your intake is week to week.

Alcohol

Logged as ethanol grams and standard drinks, so its effect on sleep and recovery is measured rather than guessed.

Getting it in

Log it however it comes.

Your day, itemized by meal with macros on every entry. For the food without a label, Enva estimates it from a photo, a pasted description, or a restaurant's own figures, then shows you the numbers to check before saving.

A day's food log, grouped by meal, with calories and macros on every item
Your day, itemized
An estimated restaurant meal: name, cafe, serving size and per-serving calories and macros, ready to check and save
Restaurant meals, estimated

Barcode scan, bundled restaurant and alcohol catalogs, saved recipes and copy-a-day all feed the same log, so the number that reaches your scores is the one you actually ate.

Where it connects

An input that moves the outputs.

Health Score

Under-fueling a hard week shows up as suppressed recovery inside the Readiness pillar before you notice it yourself.

Sleep & Recovery

Late meals, alcohol and low carbohydrate availability all register in the next morning's Recovery score.

Biological Age

Protein intake and body composition feed the Body Composition domain; metabolic markers feed Biomarker Health.

Your targets

Change your goal and every macro and calorie target recomputes from your metabolism, not a preset.
